Cars fans rejoice! One of the most popular interactive experiences for youngsters is popping up again in Melbourne.

Join them from 10am to 4pm this Saturday and Sunday at the Virgin Australia Supercars Wilson Security Sundown 500, 16 – 18 September.

The Disney/Pixar Cars Truck Tour gives fans and families the opportunity to ride, race and play their way through a dynamic Cars themed interactive zone at selected Supercars events around Australia.

Grown-ups will need to hold general admission tickets to the Supercars, and kids 12 years and under are admitted free!

The Disney/Pixar Cars Truck Tour brings the world of Radiator Springs to life, there’s nothing quite like getting up close and taking your kids photos next to Mack the Transporter in all of his truck-sized glory, along with race-car star, Lightning McQueen.

After you get your happy snaps, it’s time for the kids get busy in Mater’s Workshop as they learn all about car parts and how cars work, before they but their newfound knowledge to the test at Luigi and Guido’s Tire Challenge. Families get to learn about teamwork as they take part in a super-sized inflatable obstacle course together, set in Casa Della Tires. Who doesn’t love sliding and bouncing their way to the end?!

There’s a heap of cool and fun craft activities, a digital interactive iPad Zone, and the ever-popular Cars themed trike-racing-track where you can go round-and-round to your hearts content. If you need a break you can always park yourself up at Flo’s Diner for a bit – just like in the movies – there’s something for Cars fans young and old.

The Disney/Pixar Cars Truck Tour at the Wilson Security Sandown 500 is an action-packed day out for the family that’s sure to get you and the kids all revved up.
