Meet Shannon Christensen Abbott. Mother of two with the voice of angel, she’s recently taken to Facebook to share the ‘Mommy Rendition’ of the Leonard Cohen favourite Hallelujah she’d written for a local talent show. It certainly hit the mark for all the right reasons and sent her viral!
While she loves the song, she says original version’s lyrics are ‘weird’ so decided to change the lyrics to reflect her hectic life as a mum. Watch the video below, paying particular attention to her clever lyrics (especially the bit about dad sleeping through all the noise!!)
