The NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Esperta is a gorgeous little coffee machine that works with NESCAFÉ pods. It’s sleek, modern and adds a dash of fancy to your kitchen counter.

The machine itself is fairly straightforward, as our reviewers quickly discovered. Simply flick the switch, pop the desired capsule in and enjoy quality coffee in minutes. If you’re having a milky coffee, such as a cappuccino or a latte, then you will need to use the milk pod first, then the coffee pod (both of which come in the pod package).

This coffee machines has two settings – Espresso Boost for intense Espressos and Delicate Brew for aromatic Americanos. The Nescafe Dolce Gusto 15 bar high-pressure system, guarantees a thick, velvety crema with every cup.  And the Bluetooth connection allows you to schedule and prepare coffees ahead of time. 6am start? No problem. The coffee will be waiting for you.

All five of our Nescafe Dolce Gusto Esperta review mums (plus their kiddies and husbands) said they would happily recommend both the machine and the pods to their friends.

It’s compact and looks great, modern and classy, easy to use and clean. The perfect tasting pods compliments the whole experience.” – Anu W.

It’s easy enough for hubby to use at 4:30am each morning. He has swapped from his standard cuppa and has one of these every day before he leaves and takes one in his travel mug.” – Kylie S.

Several of my friends and family tried the coffee and were very impressed with the flavour and how easy and fast it was.” – Kate H.

Super easy to use and I loved the fact that I didn’t have to wait for the kettle to boil. We just turned on the Gusto and out came a hot cuppa.” – Gill G.

It tastes the closest to barista-made coffee than any other pod machine I’ve used.” – Rebecca Q.

One of the things that makes the Esperta extra awesome is that it does more than just coffee.

You can also whip up yummy non-caffeine drinks such as Chai Lattes, Nesquik and hot chocolate for the kids. This was a huge hit with our NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Esperta review mums.

It is so easy to use, and convenient. I also love the fact it has a huge choice of flavours including kid-friendly drinks.” – Kylie S

As our reviewers discovered, their kids adored the machine as much as they did, especially with the Nesquik pod. Several of our reviewers commented how much the kids loved indulging in a Nesquik as an after-school or special snack. (OK, maybe not just the kids)

It was so easy to use the kids could make their own hot chocolates.” – Gill G.

In terms of adult-drinks, NESCAFÉ has many to choose from. Our samplers tried seven different flavours but there are plenty more in the range and available through Woolworths, Coles and IGA or through the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto website. Each pod package costs $8.50 but they are often on special through the supermarkets.

Of the flavours on the sampling menu, Chocoletto remained the favourite followed closely by Americano, Cappucino and Chai Tea Latte.

I especially loved the Chai Tea Latte, with the sweet tea kind of flavour and amazing cinnamon smell. I have it first thing in the morning, with a twist, add two crushed cardamom pods in the cup… Yum!” – Anu W.

All the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Esperta review mums agreed that having different flavours to choose from was definitely a big plus.

After all, some mornings you may feel like something light and smooth like a cappuccino while other mornings you may need a massive coffee hit with an Americano. It really depends on how many times you hear, “Mum, I need you, Mum, I need to pee, Mum, I’m thirsty, Mum, I’m scared, Mum, the blanket is itching me,” through the night.
