Like we needed any more reasons to love Pink? She’s smart, witty, sings and performs like a total diva, takes no cr*p from anyone and now she’s got a wise post baby message for us all…

She’s shared a fabulous post of herself post workout at the gym on Insta with the super-smart words, ‘Stay off the scales ladies!’ Here’s the full story, so you’ve got yet another reason to think Pink is awesome… (like we need it but anyway…)

Scary Mommy: The singer and mom to five-year-old Willow and little Jameson, born the day after Christmas, is at the gym. She’s muscular, fit, and strong — it’s hard to imagine she ever doubts herself, but like most women, she can’t help hearing the harmful messages about how much she “should” weigh for her height.

The ever so inspiring words she wrote?

Would you believe I’m 160 pounds and 5’3″? By ‘regular standards’ that makes me obese. I know I’m not at my goal or anywhere near it after Baby 2 but dammit I don’t feel obese. The only thing I’m feeling is myself. Stay off that scale ladies!

Thanks to Pink for keeping it real. Every post baby body is a miracle and if you want to work on yours – good on you! Take a tip from this woman (am I the only person who feels like Pink could totally be my bestie?) and realise what’s important is feeling good about yourself and your beautiful kids. Everything else (including your BMI) it’s just background noise.

Be fit, be strong – and don’t think about the numbers. Because, Pink said so!

Here’s Pink’s latest track, turn up your speakers and feel your inner strength Mumma!
