Some things change with age. There’s a certain amount of drooping, dropping and um, sprouting that goes on.

What? Come on, you know what we mean. And, if you don’t, check out this hilarious video from Scary Mommy.

That’s right. It’s that one stray chin hair that’s got you going crazy. Okay, so maybe it’s more than one. Just like the mum in the clip, you stash a pair of tweezers in your bag – just in case (you never know when that natural light will suddenly magnify your lady-beard hairs).

Then there’s the hair on your head. You pull, you pluck, you color and you blend. But, it still looks like – well, the video says it best (you’ll have to watch it for yourself to see the hilariously fabulous comparison).

This totally spot-on video is getting major attention. It’s already gotten more than 1.4 million views on Facebook! What are the viewers saying about it? One mum commented, “OMG. Lol. I was just doing this a couple days ago.” Another added, “I start to hyperventilate when I can’t find my “car tweezers”!”

Not only does this video poke fun of us mums and our stray hair plucking, but it also spotlights just how embarrassing it is for our kids (but, isn’t that our job – to embarrass them?). One Facebook mum wrote, “And here I thought I was the only one that plucks stray white hairs in the car line! Ha! My kids always scream that people are gonna think I’m picking nits.”

So, go ahead and pluck away! You know you need to. Then take a look at this cute clip, with all of it’s totally spot-on humuor. Yeah, you’ll probably embarrass your kiddos (just like the mum in the video who gets an, “Eww, mom. Why do you have to do that?”). That’s okay. Just about everything you do does anyway. And, like the video points out, do your kids really want you taking them to school looking like, “The bearded lady?”
