Urgent Product Recall: Hylands Baby Teething Tablets and Nighttime Teething Tablets a “Serious Health Hazard”

The Therapeutic Goods Administration via the ACCC has recalled Hylands Baby Teething Tablets and Nighttime Teething Tablets. 

The popular homeopathic teething tablets, marketed for temporary relief of teething symptoms in children, have had all batches removed from shelves.

The product is recalled due to inconsistencies in the amounts of belladonna alkaloids that may differ from the calculated amount on the products’ labels.

Belladonna represents a serious health hazard to children and that the effects of belladonna are unpredictable.

If you have purchased Hylands Baby Teething Tablets and Nighttime Teething Tablets what should you do?

If you have this product in your home please cease consumption of it (to both children and babies) and return it to store immediately for refund. For further information consumers should call Kadac Customer Care on 1300 762 025.
