I’m calling it. This is the best double story cubby house in the history of ever. And I want one for myself.
Built by a doting dad, this designer house is what dreams are made of.
Seriously, this is the coolest cubby house we’ve ever come across. And we’ve seen our fair share of cute cubby houses. In fact, we have an article dedicated to them. But this one wins. Hands down.
Mum fact #136: Kids love cubby houses. Give them one and you can expect hours of silent, quiet, imaginative play.
But Michigan dad and builder Adam Boyd can expect more than just a few hours of quiet time from this fortress.
Two storey cubby house delight
Towering more than seven metres, the outside area includes a swing set, ropes and rock climbing walls, a massive spiral slide and even a timber bridge.
The mini mansion even comes with its own zipline. Daddy’s girls, Avery and Violet, are clearly in cubby house heaven!
Next level awesome
Inside is just as amazing. The ground floor includes a deluxe play kitchen and beautiful timber picnic table. Painted in shades of purple with white accents, the room is perfectly paired for two little princesses.
Head up a sturdy timber ladder and the girls reach a loft before arriving at the upper level. 
As you would expect, the upper level is just as cool with chalkboard walls, a stunning white rug and a pink couch complete with popsicle pillows.
And that flower fan! LOVE! 
Adam even adds a note for his daughters. Naww! Good work Dad! What a beautiful gift to give to two very lucky little girls!
Labour of love
Adam shared the images of his daughters’ new double story cubby house on his construction company’s Facebook page and parents everywhere have fallen in love with his labours.
After receiving praise from around the world, Adam admits that he “would love to do it again for another family to enjoy”. I wonder if he fancies a trip to Australia?

That is crazy awesome! Great idea! I made a 10x10x14′ barn style roof two story shed for my tools and I was looking for ideas for my kids bunkhouse. This is very cool. Thanks for sharing your project!
