    I love the combination of tart and sweet. It can add a nice bit of freshness to a dessert too, like a tart or even a trifle. It’s also great on burgers, but mostly I just love to eat it on it’s own.

  153. I love how pineapple in desserts. In fact, I think fresh or grilled pineapple with plain good vanilla ice cream is the perfect dessert. Simple but tasty. The recipe above for Warm Caramelised Pineapple with Mint & Rosemary looks like something I love and I think I will be trying it soon.

    I love the juicy burst of sweetness when I take the first bite…unfortunately, I find it hard to stop eating, and don’t believe I’ve ever consumed less than half a pineapple in a sitting!
