Seems last year’s taboo and much-laughed-upon camel toe could be 2017’s hot new trend. The question is could this actually be real? And why? WHY?
Personally when I am wearing my favourite mum-uniform of Kmart yoga pants I feel pretty good. They’re black. They make a vague attempt to suck in the wobbly bits and I pleasingly don’t feel any hard elastic cutting into my muffin top. My only fear in the yoga pants is that I might have dreaded camel toe. So when I woke this morning to see that the camel toe is actually now hotter than a scorching Sydney summer I felt a little bit confused.
The camel toe is now so ‘sought after’ that some “genius” has invented the camel toe knickers. A pair of substantial looking undies that would please any suburban mum – until you see the giant moulded lady garden that it creates for you at the front.
Whilst the trend is heralding from Japan right now, Khloe Kardashian has previously spoken proudly of her own camel toe, which she proudly names, Camille.
For me? It’s a no. But each to their own right? And if you’ll feel banging sporting a giant box under your active wear, active wear.… well, good for you. Give them a, um, crack! If this look isn’t for you and camel toe is a true fashion faux pas, read on for the solution….
