Here’s why Dads should read to their children…
We all know it’s cool to read. It’s also LOTS of fun and the perfect way to wind down before bed. But it’s not a task just for mums – dads need to join in on this (mostly) relaxing ritual too.
Researchers have actually found that when fathers read to their children at home, the child’s language development increased as they grew older. It found fathers who read to their children at age two predicted better language development at age four, which is brilliantly timed with school readiness. So don’t be too quick to turn the pages!
