When you’re trying to juggle a hundred things it’s a little hard to meal plan for the week! We’re here to make it a little easier by showing you how to use your leftovers last a little longer.
Eating the same thing 4 nights in a row is never fun. Here’s how to make your boring leftovers taste delicious again!
1. Pulled Pork Mac n’ Cheese
You’ve made your pulled pork sliders and they were absolutely delicious – if you want to try something a little different, put it in with your mac and cheese! You won’t be disappointed, this is a salivating tasting dish in it’s own right.
2. Sloppy Joe Sandwich
Had enough of the chilli con carne? Sometimes meat and rice alone just won’t do. Pop it in a sandwich and mix it with avocado, fresh tomato, mayo and lettuce and you’ll be surprised how fresh and different it tastes!
3. Quick Chicken Pie
If you’ve roasted too much chicken and have no idea to do with it, pop it in a pie! Better yet, use this recipe for easy chicken pot pie – you just won’t have to do the first step of roasting the chicken! Voila, a completely different dish.
4. Sausage Pasta Bake
We all know too well the feeling of not knowing what to do with leftover sausages from a BBQ. When your eyes are bigger than your stomach and you have a dozen cooked sausages leftover, why not chuck them in a pasta bake! Chop them up and cook them with some canned chopped tomatoes and herbs until it’s reduced, and toss in some pasta and starchy water. Then transfer into a baking dish with a heavy layer of grated cheese on top and bake until golden! A delicious meal for the whole family and minimal effort – just how we like it.
5. Leftover Steak Quesadillas
There’s nothing better than a fresh steak than leftover steak quesadillas. Grab some tortillas, add guac and a little salsa and cheese, toast them up and serve with sour cream – nothing boring about that!

While we love a classic leftover turkey sandwich, especially those towering creations stacked high with stuffing, potatoes, and cranberry sauce, sometimes it’s good to stretch the palate a little and use your leftovers to create entirely new dishes.
