Former Hi5 firecracker and now TV presenter Charli Robinson has announced some pretty special news: her little bundle of joy has arrived… and it’s a girl!
Charli and her partner, race car driver Liam Talbot, announced that they were expecting their first child back in August 2018.
The pair were expecting to become parents in late January 2019. But the Getaway presenter took to Instagram to share the news that their baby girl had arrived a little earlier than expected!
“OUR BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL HAS ARRIVED!!!! 💖💖💖 Kensington Claire Talbot,” Charli wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of all the pink flowers and balloons crowding her private hospital room.
”We look forward to introducing you to our beautiful Kensy very soon! She’s perfectly healthy, happy and although joined us a little early, she’s the most welcome gift! 💓💓 Our hearts are bursting with love!”

Feeding every 3 hours & holding her every other minute means we barely know what day it is…but what a special time!

The 37-year-old has been dating Liam for two years and the couple revealed last year that they knew they were having a girl. They haven’t shared any snaps of bub yet, but first revealed news of their pregnancy to magazine New Idea, so it’s a fair bet the first baby photos will appear there too.
“I wanted a little girl,” Liam told New Idea back in August 2018.
If she’s anything like Charli, she will be the cutest thing in the world.”
Baby joy
Kensington is an extra special addition for the happy couple, after they previously went through a miscarriage at just five weeks pregnant.
“It was quite a shock to find out we were pregnant and then to find out it wasn’t a viable pregnancy,” Charli told New Idea. “Afterwards was the tough part. I kept thinking I was broken because I hadn’t had my period again and I was waiting for my body to reset.”
“It’s given me a complete new understanding for women out there and I love that the conversation about miscarriages is so open at the moment, because it’s such an isolating thing for a woman. It made us ready to be parents.”
Wedding bells?
When asked if there will be wedding bells in the air, Liam commented: “We’re just enjoying the journey at the moment. Life is so good, but at the moment we’re just so happy together and we’re bringing a special little person into the world, so we couldn’t be happier.”
Congratulations to Charli and Liam, we can’t wait to see little Kensy grow up as part of this beautiful family.
