Former Hi-5 star Lauren Brant and her ex-AFL footballer beau Barry Hall have revealed they are expecting baby number two!
And the loved-up couple announced their pregnancy news in the most adorable way – with a sweet poem and picture on Instagram.
The photo shows their first child Miller, 18 months, posing with the ultrasound images of his baby brother-to-be. And it’s as cute as anything.
“Someone to play cars with… Someone to give cuddles to… Someone to share my food with… Someone to kick the footy to,” Lauren wrote.
Baby number 2 on the way
Lauren is 15 weeks pregnant, with the new baby due at the start of winter. She told Who magazine that they will be a family of four in June. And yes, it’s another boy!
Lauren also revealed that they had been trying for a baby for some months, with no luck at first.
“It was a bit stressful trying initially but everyone’s advice about not trying is good, because as soon as we stopped thinking about it, we got pregnant,” Lauren says
‘As long as bub is healthy, we’re happy’
But that’s not all! Barry says he’d like to have a couple more kids too once this one hatches! He tells WHO he has his heart set on having four children.
“I wanted a little girl but we’re also mindful that it’s hard to have kids, so as long as it’s healthy, we’re happy,” Barry says.
“Hopefully they can entertain each other. We’ve always had four kids planned, we’re so excited to have baby number two, but we’re super busy with Miller too.”
Hello, Melbourne
It’s been a hectic few months for the couple, who are planning a move to Melbourne from their Gold Coast home.
Barry already commutes from Queensland to work in Melbourne, after losing a plum radio gig on Triple M for making some vulgar remarks about former player Leigh Montagna’s pregnant wife.
And Lauren has just launched her own girlswear label, loliboli.
We wish them all the best for their pregnancy and will keep you posted on how it all goes.
