The ACCC has issued a recall of the Little Tikes Snug n Secure Swing Pink due to risk of potential injuries. Affected swings can be identified via a date code stamp on the product.
The recall of the Little Tikes Snug n Secure Swing Pink is based on potential injury as a result of the plastic seat cracking or breaking, posing a fall hazard. Whilst there have been no reported complaints or injuries in Australia (at the time of publishing) there is however a number of international reports of swings breaking and injuries being sustained.
The recall only applies to those in the manufacturing period November 2009 through December 1, 2013. The manufacturing date code and model number 615573 are molded into the back of the swing seat.
