Target Australia has initiated a Target Easter Egg Recall on their Target and Klett brand chocolate Easter Eggs due to the potential presence of undeclared allergens (tree nuts and peanuts).
The allergen warning statement refers to “shell fruit” rather than ‘tree nuts’ and ‘peanuts’. This may be unclear and misleading for consumers who have a tree nut or peanut allergy.
Any consumers who have a tree nut or peanut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if these products are consumed.
Consumers who have a tree nut or peanut allergy or intolerance should not consume these products and should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
