A torrent of events is fuelling speculation that the royal baby has already been born…
Just imagine the pressure to give birth – that’s if the royal baby is late, of course. Rumour has it that Meghan Markle has already given birth.
Not only has the due date (April 28th) come and gone, the Royals are remaining tight-lipped on the subject on the royal baby. Add to this the early statements issued by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex themselves:
Their royal highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private.
The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”
But wait, there are many more events fuelling rumours that the royal baby has already been born…
Apparently the palace issued a note a day or two ago advising that Prince Harry (the Duke of Sussex) is going to be visiting the Netherlands next week to undertake an official engagement in Amsterdam.
This goes against earlier claims that Prince Harry would be taking paternity leave following the birth of the royal baby—or does it cement that fact that the couple have already welcomed the royal baby into the world and are enjoying some precious (and private) family time?
Speculators are claiming the baby was born last Sunday or Monday. In addition, a royal aide has been quoted saying:
He had always planned to go [to the Netherlands] but with the birth of his child due it was not announced in advance in case he was no longer able to attend. He is pleased he is able to attend.”
Fuelling royal baby fever
Adding to the royal baby hysteria are reports that the Queen visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their Frogmore Cottage home just a few days ago. Perhaps visiting the new baby! (Hope she read up on our tips when visiting a new baby.)
There have also been pictures of Prince Harry out and about looking remarkably pleased with himself. Again, adding to the speculation that the royal baby has already arrived. This is the overjoyed face of a new dad. Obvs.
From the off Harry and Meghan made clear their intention to keep the birth of their child private in the early days, so there’s little surprise that we are constantly hearing, “Is it here yet” from highly-excited members of the public (us included).
While Meghan, Harry and the royal baby won’t be participating in the traditional photoshoot, outside the hospital with their newborn, they will apparently host a photocall in Windsor soon after the child’s birth.
Cannot wait!
Meanwhile the message coming from the royal palace is:
keep calm and carry on”
Looks like we’ll just have to continue to wait with baited breath for the REAL birth of the royal baby.
