Hey, that communal mini fridge in the office breakroom isn’t a free buffet! Anyone who’s ever worked in an office knows the perils of leaving your lunch, snacks and chilly drinks out.
Even though most of your colleagues may be polite and stick to their own snacks, there’s always that one rogue raider who insists on sneaking a bite here and sip there. If the constant thievery is getting on your last nerve, you aren’t alone.
One mum just couldn’t stand for her co-worker ‘using’ her coffee creamer without her permission for one more sweet little sip. Playing a joke on said co-worker, she swapped the creamer for her own breast milk!
After the repeat offender grabbed another free swig of the creamer, the mum added a note. The note read, “Good morning! To whoever has been enjoying my coffee creamer all week … Surprise!!! You’ve been drinking my BREAST MILK. Hope you’ve enjoyed. Cheers!” She also added, “It’s organic. So no worries.”
The breastfeeding mum shared her photo with Breastfeeding Mama Talk’s Facebook page. The devilishly funny pic already has more than 31,000 likes! Readers added applause, commenting with, “I love it!!! I once worked at a company where this one guy would eat everyone’s food. Sooo needed this back then!!!” and, “Hahaha. I think that’s awesome….if someone can’t respect others stuff then they get what they get…hahaha…serves them right.”
Of course, not everyone shared the mum’s sense of humour. In response to some of the less-than-glowing comments, Breastfeeding Mama Talk wrote, “I love the people who get upset at stuff like this saying it was wrong of the breastfeeding mom to mislead people at what it is. Bahahaha how about don’t eat or drink other people’s stuff without asking. Had they asked she would have probably told them what it was.”
When it comes down to it, this FB reader sums it up, “Moral of the story…. Keep your hands off other people’s stuff.”
