When spring hits Adelaide, you know itโs time for one thing, The Royal Adelaide Show! From 30 August to 7 September 2025, the Adelaide Showground will once again burst into colour, lights, and excitement as the 248th Show rolls into town.
This iconic event has been entertaining South Aussies since 1839, making this year the 186th year of the Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society (RAHS). Itโs not just an eventโitโs a legacy, woven into the story of South Australia.

Whatโs New at the Royal Show in 2025
The 2025 Show is jam-packed with new attractions and experiences for all ages.
Main Arena
- Farmyard Dash โ A hilarious, high-energy spectacle featuring animals racing in the main arena.
- Southern Lights Spectacular, sponsored by Drakes โ A breathtaking evening show combining fireworks, music, and dazzling light displays.
Goyder Stage
- Bluey: New LIVE Interactive Experience โ The worldโs favourite Blue Heeler pup is back with a brand-new show that gets kids up and moving.
- George the Farmer โ Teaching kids about agriculture through music, story and fun.
- Peppa Pig Mini Show โ Perfect for little ones, this brand-new stage show is set to be a crowd favourite.

Rides, Food & Showbags
For thrill-seekers, the carnival offers 40+ rides, from heart-stopping screamers to family-friendly classics. If food is your love language, youโre in luck: over 12,000kg of potatoes will be fried into the legendary chips-on-a-stick, and donโt even try leaving without sampling a toffee apple, hot cinnamon doughnut, or fairy floss on a stick.

Yes I would be very happy to take my daughter and granddaughter as she has had a kidney transplant and has been a very rough time for us all Thankyou
