If you and the hubby are up for a bit of a challenge, then have we got the date night dare for you!
All you need to pull it off? A trip to your nearest op shop, $10 each and an awesome sense of humour.
Couples who play together, stay together. And couples who buy each other hysterically hideous outfits from the op shop and then hit the town, clearly belong together.
Just look at Shane and Noel Pauley, an American couple who started this fantastic #goodwilldatenight trend.

Couple Goals
The mission is simple. Head to your local op shop – Savers, Salvos, Vinnies or whichever you like best – with $10 each. Pick out an outfit for your partner and then put on your game face and head out for dinner. Take it up a notch by also adding fake names to match the outfits. No breaking character allowed.
The couple, who have a young daughter, shared the idea on their blog, Baby Bows and Bullets.
“We have a baby girl and it is so easy to get wrapped up in her and her cuteness. So, in an effort to keep our marriage first, we try to go on a date night one night a week. And we try to make them fun!
Marriage is tough, parenting is tough, and honestly life is tough. But everything is better when you’re doing it with your best friend.”
Used clothing makes for great dates
The couple are clearly on to something with their idea. The tacky trend is taking off around the globe with plenty of others joining in on the Goodwill party.
Date nights are rare. But when they do come around, it’s always fun to think outside the dinner and movie box. And, it sure beats Netflix and chill!
