Ever received an invoice for an in-app purchase you don’t remember making, only to find out it was when your kids were playing on your device? They don’t know what they’re doing, they’re just pressing away to get through to their next screen, often inadvertently charging your registered payment method. If you want to protect yourself while still allowing your child to play, here’s what you need to do:

Go to Settings -> General -> Restrictions
1) Tap the Enable Restrictions button and key in a 4 digit code. This will be used to enable and disable it in the future.
2) After entering this code, a list of apps will be shown to you.
3) Tap on In-App purchases to disable it. It should originally be green and turn grey after tapping.

If you’re in a hurry and you need to charge your phone SUPER FAST, here’s the golden ticket!  While your phone is typically charging, background apps and radio signals remain operational. Ideally, the best way to charge a phone would be to turn it off. However, you can achieve a faster charging rate by simply switching the phone to AIRPLANE MODE. In this mode, all communication is ceased which saves a bit of juice and speeds up charging in the long run.  It’s amazing how quickly your battery juices up and you can avoid being caught with a dead battery!
