There’s nothing we love more than a sneaky gawk behind a celebrity’s doors. When it comes to their progeny the rich and famous appear to know no bounds of taste, scale or toy-ownership…

Proving bigger is better, more is never enough and that there’s no such thing as excess, here’s a collection of twenty of our most wow-worthy kids rooms to ooh, aaah and what on earth… over with your friends. Enjoy!

1. Jessica Alba’s daughter Honour
Honour’s bedroom in Alba and Cash Warren’s Beverly Hills home, is absolutely gorgeous. We love her bold carpet and feminine gold furnishings. Floral meets striped has never looked so good!  Source: justincoit.com

3. Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter Penelope
With bright pops of colour including pink, orange, coral and turquoise this sorbet inspired space for daughter Penelope is pretty close to girly heaven. The room featured an Oeuf Sparrow Crib & Nurseryworks Tree Bookcase in Mini Magazine.

4. Jaime King and second son Leo Thames
Leo Thames didn’t need any more street cred, after all his godmother is Taylor Swift. That said his mum designed him a super slick, minimalist nursery with the mantra ‘Kids don’t need a million things to have fun’. Girl you are onto something! Image by Chris Patey.

5. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s daughter Willow
Willow’s room is decorated in a fashion-forward, bohemian style. Plush pillows decorate the iron four-poster, which is draped with a romantic canopy of patterned silk. Forget a child, this is a room any adult would love to retire to! Image: Architectural Digest.

6. Ellen Pompeo’s daughter Stella Luna
The Gray’s Anatomy star’s Los Angeles nursery for her daughter Stella Luna is furnished with feather headdresses, a Pierre Jeanneret child’s chair and a bold ceiling installation. We love the colours but not sure this counts as a ‘calming sleep environment!’ Image: USMag.

7. Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple
This is a surprising room for us all, the Mum Central team all agreed that we expected something different from Gwyn! The presumption of course, was that a parent who christens her child a fruity moniker would have a room that was a little less predictable… Image: Hooked on Houses. (Bonus shot: Gwyn in her kitchen showing us she’s just a ‘regular Mum; like us, dressed perfectly, amazing white marble kitchen, making organic Gloop!)

8. Christina Aguilera’s son Max
When Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman were expecting they decorated baby Max’s nursery with an eclectic mix of mural, Paddington Bears, Nintendo characters and an 11-foot moon that had been onstage during Aguilera’s Back to Basics tour. Image Hooked on Houses.

9. Jennifer Lopez’s nursery for her twins Max and Emme
This symphony in tasteful cream caused massive scandal when fans and media identified the number of potential hazards for children in the room. From choking to suffocation concerns the traditionally decorated rooms (which were featured in People magazine) attracted stacks of attention for all the wrong reasons.

10. Jay Demarcus and daughter Madeline Leigh
If you can’t quite place who this celeb is he’s the main man from American mega country act, The Rascal Flats. His daughter’s pink, gold and mirror nursery is a lavish affair befitting Ohio music royalty! Image from People Mag.
