‘Tis the season to be jolly and frankly, I couldn’t think of a better way to countdown to the big man in red’s visit than with a daily tipple of wine. Who’s with me?
There’s a new advent calendar in town and, move over kids, this one is for the parents!
Get your wine glasses out in readiness because this is the kind of Christmas advent calendar we’re ALL going to want to crack into during the silly season. Particularly after sitting through the kids’ end-of-year Christmas concert!
A Christmas Advent Calendar Like No Other
We’ve seen the Disney Book Advent Calendar, the Lego Advent Calendar and Smiggle Advent Calendar, which are all EXCELLENT. But not drinkable. So it’s with great excitement that we announce that De Bortoli is delivering the Christmas countdown goods once again this year. Cheers!
After launching Australia’s very first wine advent calendar last year, the talented wine-making crew is back with the awesome, very drinkable 2019 De Bortoli Wine Advent Calendar.
Let the Christmas Countdown Begin
The 2019 De Bortoli Wine Advent Calendar includes 24 mini wine bottles (12 x 200ml and 12x 187ml bottles, SO CUTE) to see you through December 1st, right up to Christmas Eve on the 24th. Obvs. So if there’s more than one of you, you’re going to have to work out an advent-calendar-window-opening system. Or some other kind of amicable arrangement. Or buy two. You get my drift.
What’s Your Fave Tipple?
Guys, it doesn’t really matter because there’s a wine for everyone, including:
- Rosé Rosé – this delicious wine has been making headlines and winning awards for its design and taste.
- Pinot G – a definite head-turner with its funky holographic label that shines a whole new light on the popular Pinot Gris variety.
- Woodfired Cabernet Sauvignon – De Bortoli’s newest release, this is just the wine to add some seriously good flavour to summer BBQs.
Now I don’t want to spoil the surprise element by spilling the beans on all the wine varieties, but I will say there’s something in there for the Moscato and Chardonnay lovers among us. And just quietly, you best find your bottle of Elderflower Syrup because there’s a prosecco in the 2019 De Bortoli Wine Advent Calendar too.
Making Memories with Family Traditions. And Wine.
Christmas advent calendars are all about good cheer and building up the excitement for Christmas. I can’t think of a nicer way to end the first 24 days of December than by watching the kids bust open their advent calendar windows (having successfully bribed them with it all day long), tucking them into bed and sitting back to enjoy my very own advent calendar spoils and ponder the naughty or nice list.
Run Don’t Walk – Buy Now, Drink Later!
Let’s be clear here, the 2019 De Bortoli Wine Advent Calendar ($139) is strictly limited edition. Which translates to MOVE FAST. Last year’s 2018 calendar quickly sold out, therefore I highly recommend that you jump online and order yours through the De Bortoli website where it’ll be delivered for FREE. Alternatively, make a beeline to their Cellar Doors in the Yarra Valley, Hunter Valley, Riverina and Rutherglen. Cheers to that.
Now, where are the wine glasses?
