BYJU’S FutureSchool: The Fun and Economical Way to Boost Children’s Maths, Coding and Music Confidence

Maths. Some love it. Some do not. I fall into the latter category and am still pretty salty about the fact that the maths curriculum has changed to include 80 gazillion ways to add, subtract, multiply and divide. #VerticalStrategyForLife

Whether your kiddo falls into the “love it” or “loathe it” category, or is floating somewhere in between, we’ve uncovered the ideal way to help them boost their vital maths skills in an interactive and fun way – BYJU’S FutureSchool.

Maths made fun

BYJU’S FutureSchool is an interactive learning platform that combines one-on-one tutoring with fun, interactive games and lessons. It’s ideal for students in grades 1 through 6 and can build problem-solving creative thinking and communication skills.

How it works

Through the platform, students receive personalised attention with live access to top-class teachers in a one-on-one setting as well as hands-on activities. And it’s not just maths lessons. BYJU’S FutureSchool also specialises in music and coding lessons too (we’ll get to these programs a bit later).

Trusted online maths program

BYJU’S FutureSchool maths curriculum is designed to help children grasp the ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind maths concepts and build maths confidence. They are suitable for children in grades 1 to 8 and start at $32 per class, which is significantly cheaper than a personal tutor!

FUN FACT: Kids can learn a whole year’s maths curriculum in just 52 lessons!

Their courses include personalised teaching focused on mastering maths concepts with real-world applications. Each student is given the freedom to interact, build and play with the maths they are learning in order to grasp the fundamentals more easily.

One-on-one tutoring for kids 6+

For children looking for a little extra help in maths, regardless of their age or level, this is a perfect solution. It’s also ideal for prepping for NAPLAN and other maths exams and simply gaining confidence in any area where they may be struggling.

However, the programs are also great for kids who love maths and are looking for an extra challenge and something to keep their minds ticking.

Music and Coding programs

Another great thing about BYJU’S FutureSchool is that they don’t solely focus on maths. They’ve got two other amazing programs for kids who are interested in coding and music. Both are wonderful hobbies that are often hard for us parents to teach. My son is interested in both coding and music and I have trouble helping him with either simply because I’m not knowledgeable enough in either subject.

But the team at BYJU’S FutureSchool are!

They’ve got top-class teachers in maths, music and coding who are passionate, patient and experienced in helping children succeed through these interactive lessons.

Online coding program

Let’s look at the coding program first. It’s designed for school-aged children in grades 1 all the way to grade 12 and classes start at just $38 per hour-long class. Kids become the creators, rather than the consumers of technology and learn how to create their own apps and games.

Kids learn logic, structure, sequence and algorithmic thinking and are guided by one-on-one teaching via an instructor online. There are several cool projects on offer too –  Code a Self-Driving Car, Create & Code Your Own Video Game, Build 3D Simulations of Space and Experiment & Run Code for a Satellite.

CHECK THIS OUT: Nine-year-old Souyma Singh Deora, a coding student at BYJU’S Future School created her very own Pet Care app through the coding program! This handy app connects pet owners with animal lovers who can offer their pet services, such as dog walkers, groomers, etc. How cool, right?

Online music lessons

The music program is another great option for children interested in piano or guitar and, again, will save you hundreds on private lessons. It’s for children in grade 1 all the way to 12 and classes range from $159 per month to $319 per month depending on the level.

The interactive program puts your child in front of a professional who will guide each child through a ‘learn by doing’ model. Best of all, kids love it, they want to learn AND, through the interactive lessons and games, they can prove to themselves that yes, they can do it.

If your child wants to learn a new instrument or expand on the skills they have, this is a great program to try. Plus, it’s an ideal gift too – much better than a toy!

Book your child’s free trial – you don’t need an instrument for the trial.
