It’s been a big week in celebrity land with several famous families welcoming babies this week, including Ash Barty, Meghan Trainor, Rose Leslie and Naomi Campbell.
Last week Chrissy Teigen and John Legend started the baby boom with the surprise announcement of their son, Wren Alexander, born via surrogate just five months after their daughter, Esti was born.
This week the exciting baby news just keeps coming! Below are five celebrity mums who are basking in the newborn glow right now.
Ash Barty baby news!
The retired tennis champ and her husband Gerry Kissick shared the exciting news that they are first-time parents! Ash gave birth to baby Hayden earlier this week with the parents breaking the news via Instagram alongside the caption, “Our beautiful boy. Welcome to the world, Hayden!”.
Barty announced she was expecting in January sharing a photo of their dog, Origi, lying next to a pair of baby shoes via their respective Instagram accounts. Congrats!
Ash isn’t the only tennis champ welcoming a baby in 2023. Both Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka are set to welcome babies very soon! Ace!
Queen to the throne
A rep for Game of Thrones stars Rose Leslie and Kit Harington confirmed the news that the couple welcomed their second child – a daughter.
They also have a son, whose name is unknown, born in 2021. The stars met on Game of Thrones back in 2012 and married in 2018.
Another boy for Meghan
Singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor and her husband Daryl Sabara also shared the news that they have added another boy to their family.
The Australian Idol judge announced the birth of a boy, named Barry Bruce Trainor in a sweet Instagram post. The couple are already proud parents to a son named Riley, 2.
Naomi Campbell a mum at 53
Naomi Campbell also took to Insta to showcase her new addition to the family – a baby boy! She shared a picture of her and her two-year-old daughter holding hands with the newborn.
“My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A true gift from God,” she wrote. “It’s never too late to become a mother.”
Naomi became a mum for the first time in 2021 at the age of 50. It is unknown whether Naomi carried her daughter or her new son or whether she used a surrogate.
Another vampire baby!
Twilight star Nikki Reed and her husband, Ian Somerhalder welcomed another baby to their vampire den (both of them played vampires at one stage!) – a little boy.
The stars don’t share a lot of details with their fans but Nikki did confirm that she had a home birth a “few weeks” earlier. The baby boy is their second child. The couple also have a five-year-old daughter named Bodhi Soleil.
Brianne Howey’s little peach
If you’re a Ginny and Georgia fan, then you’ll know this lovely lady! Brianne, who plays iconic Georgia, welcomed her first baby with her husband Matt Ziering last week.
She shared a picture of her with her newborn daughter, captioning it, “My whole world just got a whole lot sweeter. And smaller. Welcome my little love.”

Who’s due next – more celebrity babies on the way
Don’t expect the celebrity baby news to slow down anytime soon – it seems like 2023 is THE year to have babies!
