Is Julia Wendell really Madeleine McCann? The 21-year-old Polish girl is one step closer to finding out her genetic ancestry after submitting three DNA samples.
While the Madeline Mccann mystery is still unsolved and it’s still unclear if Julia is Maddie, it has been alleged that she is NOT the child of her parents. There is a good possibility that she was kidnapped or trafficked to Poland when she was younger, according to her private investigator.
Madeleine Mccann mystery: The back story
Julia Wendell, Madeleine McCann and Livia Schepp
Last month 21-year-old Julia Wendell (aka Julia Faustyna) started an Instagram account asking the public for help to determine if she is the missing girl, Madeleine McCann. The Polish woman shared several pieces of ‘evidence’ that could suggest she is Madeleine, or, if not Madeleine, then another missing girl named Livia Schepp.
Both Madeleine McCann and Livia Schepp share similar features to Julia and both girls are still considered missing. Madeleine, then three, went missing from her bed in a holiday apartment in Portugal on 3 May 2007 while her parents were at a restaurant just outside the villa.
Livia Schepp was six years old when she and her twin sister, Alessia, went missing in Switzerland in 2011. Police believe their father killed the girls, but they are still considered missing. You can read Livia’s full story here.
The evidence
Julia’s claim that she is Madeleine McCann has amassed a massive following and media attention, especially as the evidence she put forward is quite convincing.
- Julia and Madeleine share a lot of facial similarities including birthmarks on their faces and an eye defect. She also looks a lot like Madeleine’s parents.
- Julia has no baby pics or medical records or childhood memories.
- Julia claimed she was abused by a German name named Ney. He is her grandmother’s second husband. This happens to be the same last name as the German man who was arrested for Maddie’s kidnapping several years ago – Marvin Ney. Julia is suggesting that Marvin Ney – the German man accused of kidnapping Maddie/Julia, is the son of her abuser.
- Julia was in Wroclaw at the same time as one of Madeleine’s sightings.
While the evidence doesn’t necessarily suggest Julia is Madeleine, it does suggest that Julia is not who she’s been told she was.
Media attention
This isn’t the first time a woman has claimed to be Madeleine McCann. However, Julia’s claims have amassed a massive media following and gained attention from people around the world, including the McCanns who agreed to a DNA test.
It’s been over a month since Julia first started her account but since then, she’s deleted the account, moved to the USA, and is now working closely with Dr Fia Johansson, who claims to be a physic, medium, and private investigator.
Dr. Fia Johannson predicted that the missing girl Madeleine McCann would be found in 2023.
DNA samples submitted
According to Dr Fia Johannson, who is representing Julia, the 21-year-old has now submitted three samples for DNA testing to determine who she is and where she came from.
Dr. Fia also claimed that it has been confirmed that she is not the biological child of the parents who raised her.
‘Trafficked to Poland from another country’
This is what Dr. Fia has said:
We have a lot of evidence right now that shows Julia was definitely trafficked to Poland from another country by an international sex trafficking group. We are still conducting an investigation but Julia is definitely not the child of her parents in Poland.”
“If the results come back that she’s British or from that area then we are going to continue our investigation into Madeleine McCann and communicate with the detectives in Portugal.”
At this stage, nothing is confirmed but we hope Julia gets the answers she so desperately is searching for, whatever, the outcome is.
More to come.
