It’s big, it’s bold, it’s brilliant! It’s one of the biggest indoor playgrounds in the entire Southern Hemisphere. And it’s about to open in Melbourne!
Mamas, feast your eyes on the incredible indoor playground wonderland that is Rabbit Hole. Now imagine your kids running amok inside… all 2250 square metres of it!
This play centre – officially the biggest in Victoria – has everything a kid could want including a cooking school, an indoor disco, rock climbing wall and even a lolly shop! And mums, there’s barista made coffee on tap for you. It is a wonderland, after all.
Down the Rabbit Hole
So where is this centre of indoor play perfection, you ask. It’s only a short hop from the centre of town in Braybrook, in Melbourne’s west. And it officially opens tomorrow (March 15). It’s the vision of four parents (who happen to be friends) who decided it was time Melbourne had somewhere fab where kids could run and play freely and be challenged at the same time.
“We’ve created a space where kids will be swept off their feet as they enter a magical fantasy world, a place where they can learn and have fun at the same time,” says Rabbit Hole co-founder CJ Duong.
“The aim of Rabbit Hole is to get kids interacting with each other, using their imaginations and being creative, just as we used to when we were children.”
The creators of Rabbit Hole have splashed a serious wad of cash to create play spaces on a scale they say is unlike anything Melbourne has seen. Multiple themed areas give kids different ways to play in each space, from Space World for wanna-be astronauts to Sea World for water babies, the Forest for nature lovers and the Carnival for kids who like showing off their circus skills.
Of course, they do birthday parties too. So the kids and all their friends can go crazy and release all that happy party energy in a space that doesn’t involve your living room. Sounds good, doesn’t it?!
You’ll find Rabbit Hole Play Centre at 227 Ballarat Rd, Braybrook. Hop on over to Rabbit Hole to find out more. And if you like your playgrounds a little on the kooky side, take a look at these 15 playgrounds that are sure to freak your kids out.
