Ding the royal baby bells! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have welcomed their third child, a dashing little man born at 1101 hours. And, ladies and gents, we finally have a name!Â

It’s the birth announcement we’ve been waiting for ever since the Duchess of Cambridge confirmed her third pregnancy back in September. Now the third Royal Baby has officially made his grand appearance. After three days of waiting, the Duke and Duchess have announced their son’s name:
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles.

Royal #3 Birth details
After much speculation that the Duchess of Cambridge would give birth at home, Kensington Palace confirmed she had headed into the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital about 5.30pm AEST 23 April 2018.
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London earlier this morning in the early stages of labour.
The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.

It didn’t take long for media to quickly gather outside the hospital.

Several hours later, it was confirmed. Royal Baby 3 had been born.
Welcome to the world to our newest little prince Louis. He joins big brother, Prince George, 5 and big sister Princess Charlotte, 3 and is fifth in line to the throne, after her granddad, Prince Charles, dad, Prince William, brother and sister.
Kensington Palace confirmed the news over their social media channels as well their Royal website.
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.
The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.
The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

6 hours after the birth, the Duke of Cambridge leaves the hospital to see Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Shortly after, Prince George and Princess Charlotte arrive at St Mary’s to meet their little brother. Princess Charlotte stole the show with her gorgeous wave. She might be only two but she certainly knows how to work the crowd!
