Plus, it involves hitting people with fake swords. I mean, how could we resist?

Let’s Hit Each Other with Fake Swords Review

Our panel of reviewers included families with children aged 5 to 16. Some had played Exploding Kittens games before, while others had never played one of these unique games.

All of them, however, agreed that this game delivered something not usually found in the board game realm. And that’s really exciting!

mum central“Hilarious, chaotic fun for the whole family. Exhausting but fast to play and learn. Let’s Hit Each Other With Fake Swords is the best swordfighting tactical cardgame that I’ve ever played. I won on tactics but was roundly defeated by my kids with a sword.”Richard

mum central“A fun, active, family friendly game that is great for kids and adults alike. It had everyone laughing and jumping around together. The kids could play it for hours!”Rochelle

mum central“The different aspects of gameplay make it challenging so that you need to create a strategy for your chance to win! It takes brawn to win a sword fight, but brains to win the game. Now that we’ve had a few goes at it, i think we’ll be adding a game night to our family fun time roster.”Amber

What Our Reviewers Especially Loved About Fake Swords

If it’s fast-paced physical fun with a simple set-up you’re after, Let’s Hit Each Other with Fake Swords ticks all the boxes and then some! Expect hilarious swordplay combined with tactical cards and physical fun.

Fun for everyone!

One of the things that stood out with our families is how entertaining it was for all ages, from our littlest reviewer at age 5 to our teen reviewers, who were happy to leave their phones on their beds to hit their parents with fake swords.

Play anywhere, over and over

Another big plus was how portable the game is. It packs up into a teeny tiny box, including the fake swords, so you can easily take it anywhere with you. You don’t need a table or plenty of space like traditional board games and it takes two seconds to set up, great for spontaneous play anywhere, whether outside, camping, at a family gathering or in the living room.

Easy set-up, easy clean-up

Plus, there aren’t 8 billion bits and pieces that the kids will lose, and you’ll end up stepping on. There’s nothing worse than having to store oddly shaped game parts and pieces. The cards and the swords are also really good quality, safe and designed for epic battles.  The foam swords bend nicely, aren’t sharp, and the cards are made out of high-quality gloss cards.

But what our reviewers loved most about Let’s Hit Each Other With Fake Swords was that it brought the family together in a way that most games don’t.

  • It’s competitive, but won’t end in a big argument.
  • It’s tactical but it won’t take hours to play.
  • It’s a card game but it involves more than just cards.
  • It’s all about getting up, being active, having fun and, of course, hitting each other with fake swords.

It wasn’t like any other game we had ever played and it was fun for the kids to see mum and dad being silly and getting involved. It got us all up on our feet and interacting with each other when we normally wouldn’t. The perfect gift, this game would be fantastic for your family and friends!!”
