Nominate Your Business in the 2024 Mum Central Awards

Mum Central’s inaugural Mum Central Awards is officially open for nominations. These Awards are designed to recognise the best in the parenting business in various categories, from prams to toys, from skincare to travel. All shortlisted entries will be announced on the Mum Central website, where our voters – and your customers – will vote to award GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE to their faves!

NOMINATE your business below, and you will be automatically shortlisted into the category/categories you choose. There are several different categories to choose from, and you can nominate as many products into as many categories as you’d like. Simply scroll down below, complete the application form and select as many categories as you’d like to nominate for.

You will then receive an email confirming your nomination with an additional briefing form to showcase your products as well as payment details.

A Little More about the Mum Central and the Mum Central Awards

Over the past 14 years, we’ve built a bustling Facebook community of almost 1 million engaged mums, and our website attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each month! Our goal is always to help other parents by recommending products that have assisted us in our parenting journeys, and we want to showcase the amazing brands behind the products that make our day-to-day with kids just a little bit easier and more enjoyable.

Our Mum Central Awards give businesses (big and small) a chance to shine and share their incredible products with our engaged audience. We cannot wait to assemble our shortlists and see which products take home the GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE in each category. As the winners are based on votes, this is also your chance to engage your loyal customers and share your shortlist through your channels too.

Once you submit the form and fill in the nomination requirements, an email confirmation will be sent to you with your tax invoice and confirmation with more info on next steps. The full list of shortlisted products and services by category will be published on 2 April 2024, and then the voting begins!

The fine print and FAQ’s for Business Owners

CAN I NOMINATE A PRODUCT IN MORE THAN ONE CATEGORY?
Yes, you certainly can. As long as it’s a good fit, you can nominate the same product into numerous categories. So, for example, if you’ve got an amazing new baby carrier, you may want to submit it to the Best Travel, Best New Product of the Year and Best On-the-Go Baby Product.

CAN I NOMINATE SEVERAL PRODUCTS?
Yes, you certainly can! If you’ve got several great products under your brand, then enter as many as you’d like! Just make sure you choose the right category/categories for each product as your description will vary depending on the category you’re targeting.

CAN I SHARE MY NOMINATION WITH MY FOLLOWERS TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO VOTE?
Yes, you certainly can! All nominees are encouraged to share their nominations with their readers across all channels. We will also have an asset kit available to assist you in promoting your nomination.

All nominees will receive a Mum Central Nominations Awards Badge to use on your socials and to encourage your customers to vote.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF SOMEONE ELSE NOMINATES ME AND WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
First of all, congrats! So exciting. If you have been nominated by someone else, it’s up to you to decide if you’d like to continue the process and become an official nominee. You will receive an email notifying you of your nomination and the category, with a link to complete the application.Someone else nominated me! Now what?

I WANT TO NOMINATE MYSELF – IS THERE A FEE?
To nominate your own product or business, you will need to pay a registration fee which is outlined in the form below. There is a ONE-OFF REGISTRATION FEE of $295 + GST per product/service for each category nomination. Winners will not be required to pay any additional fees to use the winner’s logo ongoing. That’s it! If you would like to nominate multiple products in multiple categories and would prefer to be invoiced, please get in touch with us via email at el****@mu********.au.

DOES THE FEE INCLUDE ALL ASSETS AND BADGES THAT WE CAN USE LATER?
Yes, the participation fee includes the unlimited usage rights for the ‘I’ve Been Nominated” and “Vote Now” badge during the voting period as well as the Gold, Silver and Bronze Winner badges awarded to the top three votegetters once voting has closed.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I’VE WON A MUM CENTRAL AWARD?
All winners will be emailed on the morning of Wednesday, 15 May 2024, just before we publish the winners’ list on our website and celebrate them across our social channels.

We will also contact our People’s Choice Voting Winner to let them know they have won the $300 JB Hifi gift card Voting Prize.
