Serena Williams and tech fiancé Alexis Ohanian have shared the first snap of Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr on social media. And isn’t she a cutie!
Named after her daddy, it’s the first photo the couple have shared since revealing their baby daughter had arrived via c-section at St Mary’s Medical Centre, on 2 September, 2017.
“Meet Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. You have to check out link in bio for her amazing journey,” the caption on Serena’s Instagram account reads.
Proud daddy Alexis takes it one step further, posting a still from the short video made to document baby Alexis’ adventure into the big, wide world. We love how the Reddit founder turned his new family into little Reddit figures.
“Mama’s perfect sidekick”
“Welcome, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr., we’re so happy to meet you,” the doting new daddy writes. “Our little girl is already mama’s perfect sidekick,”
The two minute long video entitled ‘Hello World, Meet Our Baby Girl,” starts with an ultrasound image. It shows candid footage of the couple as they prepare to become first time parents. It ends with Serena and Alexis Snr prepare to take their daughter home after a six day stay in hospital, following some complications with the birth.
“So we’re leaving the hospital after six, seven days,” Serena says in the clip. “It’s been a long time, but we had a lot of complications, but look who we got — we got a baby girl.”
The super sweet clip has already clocked up more than half a million views in less than a day.
