Our spidey senses are tingling with excitement about Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. This is the newest Spider-Man™ movie coming to cinemas and we have 20 in-season family passes for 4 to give away!
Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga and follows the hugely successful Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, released in 2018.
Whether you’re a die-hard Spider-Man™ fan, or have a little one at home who is, or whether this is your first experience in the Spider-Verse, we know kids and adults will love Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Return to the Spider-Verse this June
Every Spider-Man™ fan has their own theory on the greatest Spider-Man™ of all time, but we’ve heard a lot of buzz about the latest instalment, following Miles Morales and his mates across the multiverse.
After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man™ is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.
But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
The film brings back Shemiek Moore and Hailee Steinfeld as Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, respectively. Also returning is Jake Johnson as Spidey mentor, Peter B. Parker.
The movie also stars Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, Karan Soni, Oscar Isaac, and more.
Here’s a little sneak peek of what you can expect from this highly-anticipated movie.
Why kids LOVE Spider-Man™Â
There’s a lot to love about Spider-Man™ and we love how Miles Morales has brought a fresh new perspective to the role. Peter Parker is great, but there’s something about Miles – he’s likeable, he’s energetic and he’s relatable. He has these superhero powers but he’s also vulnerable.
The whole Spider-Verse is something else too. The graphics and special effects bring the whole comic book experience to life in such an impactful way … something we adults can appreciate, especially if you read comic books at some stage.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse shoots into cinemas on 1st June 2023. We expect this animated film to soar to the top of the box office charts, just as the first installment did. It’s an easy-to-watch movie that both you and the kids will love! Find out more about it on the Sony Pictures Facebook page.
