NEW Bluey Episodes are here, including a 28-Minute Special!
One new Bluey episode isn’t enough to satisfy our need for Heeler-family antics, and the team behind the popular Aussie TV show knows it. So, on Sunday April 14, they are releasing The Sign (Season 3, Episode 49), a 28-minute special episode – that’s four Bluey episodes in one!
“There’ll be lots of laughs, exciting guest voices, and definitely a few tears. We’re so incredibly proud of the awesome team behind the series, and we can’t wait for Australia and the world to watch this very special Bluey episode with their family and friends.” – Ludo Studio, makers of Bluey.
Here at Mum Central, the rumours have been swirling about what this huge special Bluey episode would be about. The makers of the hit children’s television show were initially quiet about it, but it’s just been released that the 28-minute special will cover the ‘Wedding of the Year’!
Will it be Frisky and Uncle Rad’s beautiful wedding in Bali? Will Bluey and Bingo be the flower girls? Who else will attend? Will the elusive Grandpa Bob make an appearance? Eek! We can’t wait to find out!
Watch the much-anticipated trailer below from ABC Kids for the two new Bluey episodes, Ghostbasket and The Sign!
In the lead-up to The Sign, the show’s creators have been releasing their own sneaky signs on their socials – have you found them all? So far, there’s been:
- A butterfly – all signs lead to an ‘old friend’.
- A badge – all signs lead to a little ‘adventure’
- Two gnomes dressed as a bride and groom – all signs lead to some ‘romance’
- A white rose sticker representing the invite to ‘The Wedding of the Year’
Plus two more on the Bluey website that have been secret so far:

What could they be? It looks like there might be more to come!
(Also, did you see that the Terrier triplets’ mum might have a thing for Winton’s dad? Wackadoo!)
Which characters will be in the new episodes?
The Sign features all your favourite voice talent – Dave McCormack as Bandit, Melanie Zanetti as Chilli, plus Patrick Brammall returns as the voice of Uncle Rad and Claudia O’Doherty as Frisky. Even Aunt Trixie (voiced by Myf Warhurst) and Aunty Brandy (voiced by Rose Byrne) will be there!!
New to the show will be characters voiced by beloved Aussie presenter Rove McManus, award-winning actress Deborah Mailman, Brendan Williams, host of The Hammerbarn Project podcast and Hollywood heartthrob Joel Edgerton! Who else is getting excited?
