If you have a weakness for breathtaking birth photography, then you’re in for a treat! The latest birth photography awards have been announced and we can’t wait to share the winners with you!
The annual competition held by the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers (or IAPBP as we’ll call it) celebrates the beauty of birth and the skill of birth photographers around the globe in five categories. The number one birth association worldwide, the community encompasses more than 1,100 members in 52 countries.
Celebrate the beauty of birth and the skill of birth photographers around the globe, the association’s annual birth photography awards photo competition recognises its members and their best work on an international platform. The competition has grown in scope each year. Highly anticipated, the results quickly go viral each year when the winners are announced. Images are judged on a variety of criteria and the first place winner will be featured throughout the year.

Birth Photography Winners
The photos depict all types of birthing experiences, including home births, water births, hospital births, VBACS and cesareans. Best of all, each photo manages to capture the emotion of that exact moment, and we’re sure that, like us, you’ll get taken back to that very moment when you felt that feeling yourself.
Some photos are really raw, so we warn you now. Hwever, we believe in embracing the true beauty of birth and all it brings. This is what the journey into motherhood really looks and feels like.
