YouTube video

Now, you may recall Around the World in 80 Days from your own childhood. There was a 1950’s version as well as a 2004 version.

And now, there’s an animated 2022 version and this one looks extra fun! It’s animated and centres around two cheeky characters – Passepartout, a young and scholarly marmoset and Phileas, a reckless and greedy frog.

Inspired by the timeless classic from Jules Verne – Around the World in 80 Days; this animated version follows Passepartout, a wide-eyed but scholarly marmoset who has spent his life dreaming of adventure.

His world is turned upside down when he meets the wisecracking explorer and talented conman Phileas Frog and is caught up in a bet: To set a new record by travelling around the world in 80 days.

From scorching deserts and mysterious jungles to daredevil princesses and tribes of volcano worshipping grasshoppers, Passepartout is about to discover just how wonderful and crazy the big wide world can be in this hilarious and exhilarating adventure full of twists and surprises.

Avatar of Jenna Galley

Born and raised in Canada, Jenna now lives in Far North Queensland with her tribe. When the mum-of-three is not writing, you can find her floating in the pool, watching princess movies, frolicking on the beach, bouncing her baby to sleep or nagging her older kids to put on their pants.
