There are literally thousands of usable and adorable baby names out there. Most new parents will have a list of at least a few dozen names they love. Most of us don’t get a chance to use them all unless we have a tribe of children or we succumb to naming our pets these names.
But we want to know, which baby names do mums love but haven’t been able to use. So, we asked you! We recently asked our Mum Central community this very question.
With over 1,000 replies, we count down some of the most common names and trends that made the list:

Why not the name?
Plenty of our mums commented on the reason why they opted against the name. In some instances, it was because someone else in the family already used the name. In other cases, it was because their partner didn’t agree. Or, they didn’t have a baby of the fave name gender.
In a few cases, it was because the name wouldn’t work with the surname, such as the name Paige, submitted by a mum with the last name Turner.
