Jules Sebastian is many things – author, TV presenter, public speaker, mum of two gorgeous boys and wife of the one and only Guy Sebastian. She’s also nailing cocktail recipes having discovered a talent and become an absolute whiz at making cocktails during lockdown and beyond. Here are five of her easy peasy (to make AND drink) cocktail recipes to try!

Jules becomes Instagram’s favourite cocktail whiz!
What started as a one-off cocktail video during COVID lockdown soon became a weekly show and tell segment as more and more of Jules’ 287,000 Instagram followers started to replicate her cocktails and tagging her in their posts. And since then, the cocktail requests have come in thick and fast, and Jules has been delivering the cocktail goods ever since!
So without further ado, it’s time to wheel out your bar cart, grab your cocktail shaker and prepare to be inspired by Jules’s mixologist ways!
5 cocktail recipes from Jules Sebastian’s kitchen to yours!
1. Whipped Baileys Irish Cream Coffee
Everyone loves Baileys, right? This one is for all the coffee lovers out there…
What you need
- 3 shots Baileys
- 3 shots vodka
- 3 shots milk
- 1½ tbs brown sugar
- 1½ tbs instant coffee
- 1½ tbs water
What to do
- In a jug mix together the Baileys, vodka and milk. Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, instant coffee and water. Use a whisk or electric beaters to whisk until foamy and stiff.
- Pour the Baileys milk mixture into ice-filled glasses and top with the coffee foam. Yum!
2. Midori Splice
Just when you thought your days of drinking Midori were behind you… WRONG! Delicious and sweet, the Midori Splice is the best green cocktail getting around.
What you need
- 1 shot Midori
- 1 shot Malibu
- Pineapple juice
- Canned whipped cream
- Fresh pineapple to garnish
What to do
- To an ice-filled glass, add the shots of Midor and Malibu. Top with pineapple juice and give a stir.
- Top with whipped cream and fresh pineapple on the rim of the glass!
3. Biscoff Espresso Martini
Combining two of my greatest loves, coffee and Biscoff, Jules’ hybrid Biscoff espresso martini promises great things! YUM.
What you need
- ½ shot Kahlua
- 1 shot vodka
- ½ shot cold espresso coffee
- A squeeze of Biscoff topping
- Crushed Biscoff biscuits
What to do
- Prepare two martini glasses by dipping the rim in Biscoff and then crushed Biscoff biscuits.
- Into a cocktail shaker containing ice, add the Kahlua, vodka, espresso coffee and a squeeze of Biscoff topping. Shake well for 30 seconds before pouring into the prepared glass. It’s THAT easy!
4. Chilli Margarita
Some like it hot! hot! hot! Not too hot to drink, nor too hot to handle, margie lovers will no doubt get a kick out of this not-too-spicy chilli margarita. Extra points for it looking super pretty too!
What you need
- 1 shot tequila
- 1 shot Cointreau
- A squeeze of agave syrup
- ¾ shot fresh lime juice
- salt
- chilli flakes
- fresh lime
What to do
- Into a cocktail shaker with ice, shake together the tequila, Cointreau, agave syrup and lime juice.
- Take the cut fresh lime and run it around the rim of your glass. Dip the wet rim into the combined salt and chilli flakes.
- Pour into the prepared glass and garnish with lime wedge.
5. Raspberry Lemonade Vodka Slushie
Possibly the EASIEST cocktail out there, it’s a simple whizz and slurp!
What you need
- 1 ½ cups raspberry lemonade soft drink,
- ½ cup vodka,
- juice of one lemon and ice
What to do
Add all ingredients to a blender or Thermomix and blend until a slushie consistency. Pour into a glass and slurp!
