Okay, ladies and gents. It’s time for your daily dose of “Holy heck, I’m old”. Today’s realisation is brought to you by Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, which is 20 years old this year. Crazy, right? How could this have been 20 years ago?
The good news for all of us ageing Potterheads is that there is a brand new line of Harry Potter products coming soon that will bring us right back to the hallways of Hogwarts. Best of all, our own little wizards will love to play right alongside us.
It’s called Wizarding World and this line of Harry Potter toys is available for pre-sale NOW, but only through EB Games retailer, ZiNG Pop Culture.
What can you expect from the new Wizarding Worlds toy range? A whole heck of a lot of role-playing fun, that’s what! There are fashion dolls, an interactive Hedwig, and the creme de la creme … the Magical Minis Hogwarts Castle.

1. Harry Potter Magical Mini’s Hogwarts Castle
Enter the realm of England’s premiere School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with this 60cm tall Hogwarts Castle, complete with more magic than you can poke a quidditch broom at.
There are several rooms to explore, including the Great Hall, Gryffindor Common Room, and Moaning Myrtle’s Bathroom. And yes, the bathroom actually moans.
Not only that but there are 10 magical activations to discover including:
- The Great Hall ceiling lights up in the four house colours. How fun!
- The fireplace has lights and sounds
- The cauldron pops open
- There is an epic moaning Myrtle reveal
- AND even the staircase moves (just like in the books/movies).
The castle comes with 13 accessories too including an Exclusive Hermione Small Doll, a Sorting Hat, Cat Mask and several pieces of furniture.
You can also purchase additional figurines, known as Magical Minis, including Harry, Ron, Luna, Dumbledore and Snape, each of which are sold separately or via the Magical Friendship Pack where you can find Hagrid, Ginny and Cho.
There’s a lot to love about Harry Potter’s Wizarding World – the adorable figurines, the interactive parts, but perhaps the best thing about it is you can introduce your own kids to the magical world that we ourselves loved so much.
I don’t know about you but I’ll always have a pretty special place in my heart for Harry, Ron and the crew and it’s so awesome that our own kids get to experience this too.
Mine are still too young to read the books, but you can bet your bottom dollar they will be getting this for Christmas. And I can guarantee they’ll be fighting me to play it. I call Hermoine. Every. Time.

Another hootastic new friend in the Wizarding World collection is Hedwig, an interactive plush who actually recognises and responds to the tone of your voice. FOR REAL!
She flaps her wings, turns her head and even comes with a Hogwarts-embossed envelope that she’ll hold in her beak until the letter recipient issues a specific combination of interactions.
Yes, ladies and gents, it’s your very own magical pet owl. Well, not yours. “It’s for the kids”. *wink wink*
3. Wizarding World Fashion Dolls
Next in the nostalgia lineup is the Wizarding Worlds Fashion Dolls, including Gryffindorians Harry and Hermoine and Ravenclaws, Luna Lovegood, and Cho Chang.
The new line won’t launch in major toy stores just yet but you can be one of the first to bring home the new Wizarding World range through EB Games including the Hogwarts Castle, Hedwig, Sorting Hat, and Friendship Packs.
