The Mum Story Behind Jennifer Garner’s Handmade Scarf

Celebrity or not, when your daughter knits you a half-scarf/half-sweater, you rock the shit outta it.

Jennifer Garner did just that. And it’s another reason we absolutely adore her!

Universal mum truth: Kids like to make their parents homemade presents. Some of it is worth displaying. Others, not so much.

All hail handmade presents from the kids!

But, regardless of how “abstract” the creation is, you tell them it’s amazing. You hang their picture with bits of noodles glued to it on the fridge. You eat out of their Mother’s Day plate with funny-shaped love hearts all over it. And you wear their weird-ass creations with pride.

This is exactly what mum-of-three Jen Garner did, taking to Instagram to share her nine-year-old daughter’s beautiful weave work.

Jennifer Garner scarf win is #allthemums

As Jen writes, “When your nine year old weaves a 12ft long scarf on a peg loom for your birthday present, you’d better #werk.”

Sporting the 12ft scarf, sunnies and a smile as she does the school drop off, we reckon Jen has never looked better.

Sure, it’s hard to tell if it’s a scarf or a sweater. But, you know what – it’s made with love. And it’s flippin’ awesome. Jen’s daughter, Seraphina should be proud for designing such a unique creation. Her mum clearly is!

Kudos to Jen for not only being a #proudmom but also a real one!
