Spoil Dad With These Clever Father’s Day Upgrades thanks to NESCAFE Dolce Gusto

This Father’s Day, invite dad to kick back, relax and have a day off from the regular chaos?

Because let’s face it – life as a parent can be pretty crazy.

Let Dad ditch his usual errands and daily chores. No bottoms to wipe, shoelaces to tie (or re-tie because he did it ‘wrong’ the first time), no fights to break up … just some good ol’ fashioned family fun with a bit of Dad time thrown in for good measure.

We’re talking a decent sleep in, a delicious coffee, a scrumptious brekkie, a day to relax, recharge and be reminded just how awesome his kids and his wife really are. After all, a break for dad on Father’s Day means a break for you on Mother’s Day!

Thanks to NESCAFE Dulce Gusto, we’ve got just the thing to upgrade your mornings and make dad’s day with a NESCAFE Dolce Gusto Esperta coffee machine. Talk about the perfect Father’s Day gift!

Keep scrolling to find out how to give your main man the best Father’s Day from beginning to end.

Why not combine them this year by giving the gift of coffee? It’s the gift that keeps on giving all year long!

We are frothing over the all-new NESCAFE Dolce Gusto Esperta machine, which is the latest machine to join the NESCAFE family and is an absolute dream to use! It’s so easy you can even train the kids to do it for you. Simply slide a capsule in, press a button, and voila – professional, quality, delicious-tasting coffee at home!

The NESCAFE Dolce Gusto comes with two unique brewing functionalities – Espresso Boost and Delicate Brew plus Bluetooth interconnectivity to schedule and personalise your cups of coffee.

Plus, there are a number of delicious coffee pod flavours to try – velvety flat whites, smooth Americanos or bold espressos. Perfect for when you’ve been up half the night and need a decent caffeine hit!

Next on the agenda for Dad? Breakfast in bed, of course! Made by the kids and complete with extra crispy toast and way-too-much peanut butter. Bonus points if your kids manage to drop a dollop of peanut butter into his juice too.

While you get to clean up, give Dad what he really wants! A chance to poop in peace. No kids opening the door, asking him, “What’s that smell?” or “Are you done yet?” Just a half an hour to do his business, read the paper and ignore the kids. Bliss.

However, because there’s no rest for the wicked, there’s a 99% chance that one of the kids will have some sort of sporting activity on Sunday morning. So pack up the car, grab the blanket and make a flat white in a travel mug to take to the game.

After the sports session, head back to enjoy a bit of ‘mum and dad time’. Who are we kidding? We have kids. Kids who don’t knock and don’t understand the concept of ‘alone time’. But hey, dad can still relax in front of the TV for a while. If he’s lucky, he may even get control of the remote and not have to watch repeats of Paw Patrol. Woot woot.

End the day with whatever Dad wants to do. Cricket in the park, footy in the backyard, a family game of Monopoly, a stroll along the beach. Of course, with these activities, there’s a pretty good chance the kids are going to fight, complain that someone is cheating, need the toilet halfway through (and require someone to “wipe my butt“) and/or stub a toe.

Eliminate all the evening stress by opting for a simple pre-made casserole or take-away. Then settle in for a movie, popcorn and cuddles on the couch and you’ve got the makings of another great Father’s Day.

Cricket, coffee, child-free time on the loo? What more could a dad want?

The NESCAFE Dolce Gusto is a great choice for Dad, especially if he’s a bit of a coffee connoisseur. But the very best thing about opting for NESCAFE Dolce Gusto for his Father’s Day gift is that we mums can benefit from it too.

Sure, it’s Dad’s present, but that doesn’t mean we can’t use it, right? Sharing is caring, after all!

  • Make mornings manageable! School mornings, in particular, can be hectic. One nice warm cuppa (two if the baby wakes me up before 6 am) and I’m ready to do ALL the things – make breakfasts, prep lunches, plait hair, get bumps out of socks, make beds, heck, I may even clean a bathroom.
  • Enjoy entertaining! Ideal for playdates and family gatherings, you can whip up beautiful coffee in a matter of minutes.
  • Save time, money and effort. Skip the coffee van or cafe before work and brew specialty coffee at home and save a packet in the process!

Hmmm I can smell the coffee already. Dreaming of caffeinating the husband so he can roar through those jobs that I’ve been nagging< I mean asking him to multiple times to do. I can only imagine how surprised and happy he will be to have his first of many real cups of coffee at home, that he will be. He loves flat whites, cappucino and something called a piccolo coffee. He has that a couple of times a year! This is 1 gift he will LOVE and remember for many years to come. I am sure I will thank you for it too 😉
