REAL LIFE PARTIES: Noah’s Beautiful Balloon Filled Baptism

A beautiful baptism party for a bouncing baby boy! Come see how this talented mum pulled together the most gorgeous celebratory soiree.

We love that Queensland mum Stephanie made this christening day a family affair, right down to Noah’s sweet outfit and the nitty gritty party details.

Held last November, Noah’s baptism day was sure to be a big one for this sweet five-and-a-half-month-old babe. A beautiful baptism service was held at Sunnybank Anglican Church for about 50 family and close friends, with a party afterwards at home.

Up, Up and Away with DIY

We take our hat off to Stephanie who created the most gorgeous of reception parties – all while juggling a baby! Like a true supermum party throwing queen, Stephanie decorated her yard in epic DIY style.

Let’s be honest, half a balloon garland alone would have had my fingers falling off and hair in a heavy static tizz, let alone two beauties like these. Not for Stephanie though, she powered on to create two terrific balloon garland and a leaf wrapped wreath (and for other DIY mums, most supplies came from Kmart with the exception of the balloons!).

Food, Glorious Food!

When it came time to eat, guests were treated to a glorious grazing feast. Stephanie says “I created a grazing table on the day with the majority of items used purchased from Kmart. The platter consisted of home made dips, cob loaf, cheese, meats, sweets and crackers”. A little bit of everything and a delicious spread indeed.

Let Them Eat Cake

What’s a party without a cake? Stephanie’s mum baked and decorated the most divine of baptism cakes for Noah’s special soiree. Proudly perched on top was a personalised cake topper Stephanie bought from CMC Gold. Perfection – and doesn’t Noah look completely chuffed by his Nanna’s talent?!

An Outfit Made With Love

Noah wore a gorgeous little white romper and a crocheted hooded cape, made by Stephanie’s aunt. The attention to detail in this sweet outfit is positively swoon-worthy! Of course, every baptism party needs a beautiful candle and Stephanie sourced this stunning personalised keepsake candle for Noah at Made with Love by Jessica.
