Nutella Pie Maker Doughnuts are the Ultimate Fan-Favourite Recipe

Combining the fluffy deliciousness of doughnuts with the smooth creaminess of Nutella, these easy pie-maker creations are sure to be a winner this winter.

Ingredients

Makes 10 doughnuts

  • ⅔ cup caster sugar, and ½ cup extra, to dust
  • 1 ½ cups plain flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 125g butter, melted,
  • and 50g extra
  • 2 eggs, lightly whisked
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

15g (1 Tbsp) Nutella to serve

Method

Step One

Whisk the sugar, flour and baking powder together. Create a well in the centre and add the melted butter, eggs and sour cream. Gently fold to combine.

Step Two

Turn on the pie maker. Spoon in enough batter to come 2⁄3 of the way up the side of each mould.

Step Three

Quickly add a heaped teaspoon of Nutella® in the middle of each, then spoon in enough batter to cover the Nutella®. Close the pie maker and cook your doughnuts until golden brown and cooked through (approximately 8–10 minutes).

Step Four

Meanwhile, combine the cinnamon with the extra sugar in a medium-sized bowl.

Step Five

Transfer the cooked doughnuts to a wire tray and repeat with the remaining batter and Nutella® to make 10 doughnuts. Dip the warm doughnuts in the melted butter for the delicious finale, then toss them in the cinnamon sugar.
