Like many women, I have a super soft spot for all things sparkly and pretty. I love my jewellery and feel naked if I leave the house without at least two items on me.Â
But, like many women, I don’t like cleaning it. Truth be told, I don’t really like any sort of cleaning, but jewellery is extra annoying. And fiddly.
Until I came across Koh (formerly ekoWorx).
Koh is my latest obsession. It’s a safe, effective and eco-friendly cleaning system takes the place of 20 different household cleaning products. It cleans toilets and showers, ovens and stove tops, tiles and walls. And, as I recently discovered, even gold, silver and diamond jewellery!
Now, before I continue, I need to confess something… I am incredibly picky when it comes to my jewellery and how it’s cleaned. I have tried the traditional methods – vinegar, baking soda, even harsh chemicals, but I can never shift all the itty bitty pieces of dirt and grime that get stuck in the cracks. Usually I end up paying a professional to do it, which can get expensive.
But out of all the methods I’ve used as a jewellery cleaning solution, Koh has easily delivered the best results. And the process to do it at home, by yourself, is almost too easy!
If you want to give Koh a go, then now’s the time to get on it! For a limited time they have FREE SHIPPING with bundle orders. Just be sure to enter MUMCENTRAL at the checkout.Â

Overnight method for cleaning jewellery with Koh
Another easy and effective way to clean your jewellery is to soak it overnight.
Simply add the Koh jewellery cleaning liquid into a small cup, place your rings, bracelets, etc into the glass cup and leave overnight. Dry with a Koh cleaning cloth and prepare for some serious sparkle!
No Toxic Fumes, No Harsh Chemicals
Koh Universal Cleaner has become a staple in my household and I am more than happy to report that it does an ace job cleaning jewellery too! It’s safe to use on all gold, silver and diamond jewellery, whether you’re cleaning Tiffany jewellery or polishing up your nanna’s old wedding rings that were passed down to you. I recommend avoiding copper, brass, pearls or rare gemstones though, just to be safe.
Koh is also a lot cheaper than paying for a professional clean or purchasing a jewellery cleaning kit, like a Pandora cleaner kit which retails for $20 and doesn’t include the solution.
But what I especially love about using Koh, whether on my jewellery or around the house, is that it’s so safe. And that goes for mums, dads, babies, kids, pets, the whole household. Here’s a few other reasons why Koh is the go-to for me:
✓ Independently eco-certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia
✓ Comes with a 30 day money back guarantee
✓ Complies with the Choose Cruelty-Free Program so it’s NOT tested on animalsÂ
✓ Formulated at UNSW
