10-year-old boys are pretty easy to please at Christmas. Sports equipment, PS4 gift cards, perhaps Laser Tag or a remote control car. But Hunter Curtis, son of Roxy Jacenko, has bigger plans for Santa this year. Roxy shared her son’s handwritten Christmas list which included several items worth over $4,500 and enough sports gear to stock an entire Rebel store.
The 44-year-old mum took to Instagram on the weekend to share his Christmas list.
4 Soccer Jerseys, 3 Pairs of Shoes, 2 Soccer Balls and a Partridge in a Pear Tree (actually, an engraved iPad Pro)
Hunter requested not one, not two, but three pairs of shoes including LeBron James XXII basketball shoes ($280), Nike Jr Mercurial Vapor Pro shoes ($200), and Giannis Immortality 4 shoes ($110). That’s nearly $600 in shoes.
He would also like four different soccer jerseys from West Ham United, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Barcelona, each valued between $100 and $150.
Hunter, clearly an avid soccer player, also listed several soccer balls, a punching bag as well as a Nike Pro Basketball for $50. This was the cheapest item on his list.
His big ticket item is an iPad Pro for $2,929 with “fart 99” engraved on it. I guess he’s a regular 10-year-old boy in some regards.
Roxy didn’t reveal if Hunter will be receiving everything from Santa but she jokes that her son is very much like her, especially when it comes to his very detailed list. Hunter provided Santa with the specifics on the size, models and make of each item.
Christmas is a time for splurging
Roxy also recently stated that she spent $15,000 on custom Christmas decorations, and her house is lit up to the max.
The floor-to-ceiling 11-metre fairy lights covered the entire facade of her house as she joked, “There’s nothing extra about me.”
$4,500 on Christmas gifts – not even a dent
Roxy Jacenko has never been shy to reveal how much she spends on her kids. A few years ago, for her daughter Pixie’s 9th birthday she gifted the child with a car. And not just any car – an $85,000 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350. And this is just the beginning.
The same year Roxy also shared her daughter’s 9th birthday wish list which, like Hunter’s, is filled with impressive gifts and labels including a new bed and a couch as well as teeth whitening and a skincare fridge.
Roxy also went all out for both her kids’ birthday parties in the past, dishing out reportedly $50,000 for Hunter’s 9th birthday out on a super yacht. The Hawaiian-themed party included a Tiki Bar and lolly buffet with plenty more goodies on board. Pixie’s 11th birthday party set the family back $40,000 and was held at a nightclub. Lucky kids!
While there’s no right or wrong number of gifts to give to your kids, we love this 8 gift rule for Christmas. The list includes something they want, something they need, something to wear, something to read, something to share, something to love, something to play and something from Santa. Of course, if you prefer Santa to deliver all the gifts, you don’t have to worry about this one.
