Hearts are melting to infinity and beyond. Because not only are these photos of newborn twins dressed as Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Toy Story so freaking cute, they celebrate twins being ‘best friends for life’ (heart melting!).
Dressed in loveable crocheted outfits and perched on a toy shelf, these newborn twins bring new meaning to the saying “you’ve got a friend in me”.
Clever photographer Karen Marie Hourscht, from Belly Beautiful Portraits, is creating a storm with her gorgeous Toy Story newborn twins photo shoot images. And it happened just in time for the release of the latest film in the franchise – Toy Story 4. (A must-see for the school holidays!)
Karen says the idea for the Toy Story photo shoot came from the newborns’ parents, who are big Disney fans and love the Toy Story series.
And with the help of Etsy store The Yarn Mermaid, Karen was able to dress the beautiful bubs up as the Toy Story 4 stars Buzz Lightyear and Woody. As the images show, each baby wears a cute crochet costume.
There’s the saying ‘never work with animals or children’, but thank goodness this fantastic photographer didn’t heed the warning. She’s is literally stealing everyone’s hearts with these too-cute photos. Image how chuffed the parents must be.
As you might already know, friendship, adventure and fun are major themes in the Toy Story movie. And Karen managed to capture these beautifully with an array of wonderful props and toys from the film. Plus she set up a cake smash. Imagine the fun…and the mess?
She explains that all the babies she worked with on the photo shoot were amazing.
“Twins are a bit more difficult because one will sometimes wake up they other, but I get some beautiful and touching images from those shoots that really captures their connection to each other.”
Newborn portraits like no other
This isn’t the first time Karen has created a frenzy with her amazing photos. There have been many other newborn shoots based on family favourites, such as Disney Princesses, Frozen and Mickey Mouse.
