Got plans for the weekend?
Not yet? Good. Because we’ve got a fantastic free event the whole family will love, especially if they are mini LEGO master builders in the making.
Head down to Westfield Parramatta this Saturday and Sunday 28 and 29 July 2018 to prepare for International Friendship Day (Monday 30 July) and be part of some legendary LEGO fun.
Join Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught, Australia’s only LEGO Certified Professional builder and Sabre Norris, competitive teen surfer, skateboarder and all round fire cracker, as they make a massive heart out of LEGO to mark the occasion. Ryan will be there making the LEGO Friends heart all weekend and Sabre’s fans can catch her on Sunday from noon.
Sabre’s two sisters, Sockie and Naz Norris (the kooky kids from YouTube channel The Norris Nuts) will also be there on Sunday to celebrate all things friendship.
Show some LEGO Heart
The LEGO Friends heart will include nearly 10,000 LEGO bricks and, when complete, will stand three metres high. That’s a whole lotta LEGO love!
The kids are sure to be entertained by the Norris Nuts antics as the siblings share their thoughts on what friendship means to them. There’s also heaps of other activities planned for the day including LEGO necklace workshops and a free play area.
Event details:
- When: Saturday 28th July (9am – 6pm) and Sunday 29th July (10am – 6pm)
- Where: Westfield Parramatta
- Cost: FREE
If you’re in the area, then why not show some heart and share in the LEGO love?
