Two years ago Bec Judd gave birth to twin boys. If you follow the famous Aussie author and WAG, then you probably already knew that.Â
You probably also know that her twins, Tom and Darcy are absolutely adorable little hell raisers who clearly keep the model mum on her toes (seriously, how cute are these kids???!!!)
But you may not have been privy to these intimate birth photos of Tom and Darcy’s grand entry into the world. Or the interesting way Tom and Darcy’s birth order has impacted their personalities.
Happy birthday Tom and Darcy
Bec Judd has never been shy about letting us into her private life. She’s shared pics of her massive mum boobs after giving birth and often posts about the adorable/cringeworthy things her four kiddies get up to (Bec and hubby, ex-footballer Chris Judd have two older kids too – Billie and Oscar).
But we’ve never entered the delivery room with her. Until now.
In honour of her twins’ birthday (and on the same day Chris’ former footy team, the West Coast Eagles won the AFL Grand Final, ironically), Bec posted two black and white pictures of her c-section.
“How lucky are we to live in a country where we have access to the best medical practitioners and our babies are delivered in the safest possible way. I am thankful for our healthcare system and being Australian every single day,” Bec shares.
In the first, Tom’s massive baby head dominates the pic as he exits the womb. In the second, Darcy exits bum first after his brother.
First out, best dressed
The pics are candid, raw and beautiful. But Bec also makes an interesting note about how her boys’ birth order impacts their personalities.
According to Bec, twin #1, Tom, is not only the leader in the race out of the womb, but also in general day to day antics.
“It’s funny because I feel Tom still dominates Darcy to this day. Born older, bigger and bossier,” Bec reflects.
Meanwhile, her ass-first little warrior, Darcy “is braver (insert crazier 🤪) and can kick the footy WAY better than Tom. #priorities.”
There’s a lot of interesting data out there on birth order. Some experts think that birth order is a clear indicator of personality, especially in twin births. Others think it’s all a bunch of hippie-dippie baloney.
What do you think? If you’re a twin mum, did you notice a similar trend with your little twinnies?
