3-Year-Old’s Love of Demon Doll Wins the Internet

A little girl named Briar has stolen the spotlight after she discovered literally the creepiest doll in the history of the world on the shelves at her local Spirit Halloween shop.

Unlike most children who would have run away in fear that the red-eyed devil baby would suck her soul, Briar decided this demon doll was her new baby and begged her mum to buy it for her.

Briar’s mum, Brittany shared the hilarious tale of Briar and her devil doll’s first encounter on her Facebook page with thousands of people commenting and sharing the story.

Since then, Briar and her doll, who is now named Chloe (or Creepy Chloe as Brittany calls her), do everything together. And we mean everything!

The unusual pair have even started an Instagram page outlining the many adventures of Briar and her horrific soul-sucking devil doll.

When Briar met Chloe

It all started one afternoon when Brittany took three-year-old Briar to their local Halloween shop.

As Brittany writes,

“[Briar] absolutely insist[ed] on buying the creepiest baby doll you’ve ever set eyes on. She said, “But I’m its mommy and it needs me!”

Briar named the doll, Chloe and I then immediately nicknamed her Creepy Chloe. I’m pretty sure Creepy Chloe is stealing my soul when I sleep.”

One look at Chloe and we would have to agree – this doll has soul stealer written all over it.

The scaly greenish skin. The beady black eyes. The dark mouth.

Plus, the creepy thing’s eyes also turn a bright red and she makes this horrific cackle when turned on. Nightmare city.

Since taking Chloe home, Briar hasn’t left the terrifying thing alone. Chloe is always there for the ride, at swimming lessons, visiting Santa, and on a trip to Target.

Creepy Chloe eats and sleeps with Briar, all the while Brittany watches on, snapping photos and praying the beady-eyed figurine doesn’t pull a Chucky when she’s not looking.

Creepy Chloe is around the same size as an American Girl doll so she has a whole range of outfits to try on. But my fave has to be this dirty AF one-piece jumpsuit paired with pink rainboots. It really brings out the NOPE in her decrepitated hands.

While Brittany is now sleeping with one eye open most nights, she admits that seeing Briar happy is worth the crippling fear that the doll is going to eat her.

“I guess the moral of the story is when your 3 year old throws a fit over absolutely needing a super creepy Halloween doll… buy the doll. Creepy Chloe might be stealing my soul while I sleep, but we are making the best of our time left over here!”

Even more creepy dolls

I’ve seen my fair share of creepy toys, but I reckon Chloe tops the charts. However, check out a few other terrifying toys that most certainly scar everyone they come into contact with.

Little Miss Nightmare

These soul-crushing sisters are actually part of the Little Miss No Name line of dolls that haunted the toy shelves back in the 1960s.

Human Skull Nightmaremobile

disturbing toys

You could buy a standard Little Tykes red and yellow car, like most parents. Or… you could opt for this vividly human skull mobile and really horrify the kids.

The oversized teeth, bulging veins and one bloodshot eye really add to the exterior, don’t you think? And that brain seat? Comfort and luxury in one.

The Pianist of the Damned

What horror story did this thing crawl out of?

Oh, look, kids! The actual devil. In plush form. And with real human teeth. Excuse me while I NEVER SLEEP AGAIN.
