YEP. The popular Ooshies promo is ending early. OF COURSE, IT IS. It’s 2020 after all. What else would we expect from 2020?

The end is now

Woolworths has made the sad announcement that their Disney+ Ooshies promo will end early. Why? An  “unprecedented demand” for the collectable items, according to Woolies.

The end date? Today! Woolies expects that the remaining stock will be completely gone by end of this week.

So long, Ooshies promo

According to Woolworths,

Availability of Disney Ooshies in store varies from store-to-store in each state and territory, however online redemption of Ooshies will cease everywhere other than Victoria from later today.”

“Victoria is excluded from these estimates as their allocation was kept separate from the rest of Australia due to the delayed launch of the Victorian campaign.”

If you aren’t a Woolies shopper or don’t have kids who feel the need to collect ALL the collectables, then allow us to bring you up to speed.

Disney+ Ooshies are the latest collectable phenomena. Spend $30 at Woolworths and you’ll get one Ooshies. There are plenty of Disney, Pixar and Star Wars-inspired characters to collect – Woody, Elsa, Buzz, Yoda, Ariel, Moana and Darth Vader.

Hold on to ya Ooshies

I, for one, am not surprised. Our local has been out of Ooshies for the past two weeks meaning my kids have missed out on over 20 Ooshies. But, they’ve also already lost interest in the collection other than the weird orange puppy below (who is this anyway??), so it’s not all bad news.

For those who are still trying to complete their collection, you’d better make a beeline to Woolies ASAP.

We predict the early end date means these Ooshies will be selling online for a mint. Check out how much this rare Oooshies is currently going for! And this was before the surprise end date.
