Everyone the world over is getting on some of this viral fun, celebrities included. From our very own Carrie Bickmore and Robert Irwin to televisions favourite doctor, Dr Phil. Yep, that’s right, our favourite celebs are uploading their own takes on the Fleetwood Mac challenge to their social media for a laugh. And boy, do we laugh.
But WHY?
The Fleetwood Mac challenge started with TikTok user Nathan Apodaca, posting a video of himself riding a skateboard while lip-synching the Fleetwood Mac hit song “Dreams”, while casually drinking an Ocean Spray cranberry juice. It’s since been reported that Nathans vehicle was out of action, hence the skateboard. As you do.

I can only imagine with over 10 million views of the video clip, that Ocean Spray sales have since skyrocketed. Ocean Spray has gifted Nathan with an epic cranberry covered truck (ute) with a tray bulging with cranberry juice. It’s a mighty win for both parties in 2020!

The ultimate mic drop moment
Perhaps putting a ‘mic drop’ to the viral challenge is Stevie Nicks herself (lead singer of Fleetwood Mac for those unaware). The famous crooner joined the TikTok platform, uploaded her own challenge video to her account using the hashtag #Fleetwoodmac Challenge and that was it. *BOOM*
