Congratulations to everyone who entered our ALDI Lamb Recipe competition. The entry level was high and it certainly made for a tough judging selection.
In case you missed it, we have been sharing with our readers just how huge the range of Australian meat is at your local ALDI supermarket. It’s all from Aussie farmers and delivered fresh in store daily.
We then posed the challenge to our readers: share your favourite Lamb recipe with us and we would choose 3 to recreate in the Mum’s Pantry kitchen and reward them with a $100 ALDI gift card to say thanks!
So without further ado, here are our winners:
Recipe 1:  Farmwood Curried Leg of Lamb
Serves 6 – $4.82 per serve
Recipe 2:  Slow cooked Farmwood Lamb Shanks with a warm Sweet Potato salad
Serves 4 – $6.70 per serve
Recipe 3:  Lemon and Mustard Farmwood Lamb Chops
Serves 4 – $5./56 per serve
About ALDI:
Since ALDI Australia established in 2001, they have opened more than 420 stores nationwide and plan to open 120 stores in South Australia and Western Australia in the coming years!  It’s no surprise if you’ve shopped there before, that a recent CHOICE survey* found Australian’s could save up to 50% on their weekly groceries just by shopping at ALDI. This just goes to reinforce their position of the price leader.
Better in your own pocket don’t you think?
This is a sponsored post for ALDI Australia and all of the opinions are my own.
* Basket items prices in the CHOICE survey included brands and private label equivalents across 31 product categories, including fresh food items, bread, cheese, chocolate, tuna, toilet paper and frozen peas
